Texas Neighborhood Services (TNS) — Community Services Programs assist economically disadvantaged individuals, families (regardless of size), and the elderly to overcome lifestyle barriers so they can make positive life changes in order to become self-sufficient. This is accomplished through a variety of methods:
- Utility assistance programs – State and/or Donated. Direct payments to vendors for qualified participants for natural gas, propane, electric and for 2022 water assistance.
- Lifestyle management services to assist individuals in finding appropriate employment
- Referrals to agencies for services not directly provided by our organization. We believe in supporting the community as a part of the social safety net. Not every non-profit can be the end all, be all for every person in need. TNS strives to be a leader in bringing partners to the table for support.
Through TNS — Community Services’ ways of work, clients learn to become financially independent, reducing and eliminating their reliance on social services.
